The Organization Process

  • Complementary Needs Assessment (No charge)
    • Gracefully Organized begins each project with a complementary needs assessment. This is an informal, information gathering process and involves completing a needs assessment questionnaire.  We will simply get acquainted with each other, evaluate the current situation, and discuss your organizing goals.
  • Strategy Session (Fee applied to first invoice)
    • At the consultation, we will review your needs and goals, take measurements and photographs, brainstorm ideas together, and develop a plan of action.
  • Implementation—Choose the option that best suits your needs and budget.
    • “Virtual Organizing”
      • Gracefully Organized customizes an “Organizing Plan of Action” that you can implement on your own. The Plan includes step by step directions, a floor plan drawing of your space (if applicable), and recommended materials and supplies.
      • Additional assistance is just a phone call or e-mail away!
    • Side-by-Side Organization and/or “Coaching”
      • Gracefully Organized works WITH you hands-on to complete your project.
      • This may be combined with“homework” that you complete on your own between sessions and/or off-site organizing services such as shopping or file set up.
    • Full Service Organization
      • We will work independently on your project, including shopping for and delivering organizing supplies and materials.
      • Please be aware, however, that some parts of the organization process (such as purging) will require client participation and/or approval.
    • Shopping Services
      • We can shop for and deliver the organizing supplies and materials needed for your project.
  • Follow-up and evaluation (No charge for first 30 minutes).
    • Once an organizing system is in place and the client has an opportunity to “test” the system, it is important to evaluate how the system is working. Within 30 days of implementation, Gracefully Organized will provide a complementary 30 minute follow-up and evaluation session. (Time in excess of 30 minutes will be billed at the current hourly rate).
