About Us

Gracefully Organized, LLC was founded in May, 2009 by Shevin Goodwin. Shevin has a BA from UT-Dallas in Arts and Performance with emphasis in creative writing, film studies, and visual art. She also has many years of experience in office management, accounting, and business administration. The career of Professional Organizer provides the unique opportunity to combine both her creative and administrative skills to create personalized solutions for her clients.

In addition to Professional Organization, Shevin also works part time as the Controller for Goodwin Graphics, Inc. in Carrollton, Texas. As Controller, she manages all of the accounting as well as the human resource and benefits administration for approximately 40 employees. Shevin is a member of NAPO-the National Association of Professional Organizers and the NAPO-DFW Chapter as well as SHRM-the Society for Human Resource Management.

Shevin attended the Professional Organizer Training Institute training program for Professional Organizer Business Owners. The standards and practices learned from the Professional Organizer Training Institute are based on the principles and Code of Ethics set out by the National Association of Professional Organizers.

Shevin lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, Tim, and their two sons, Josh-20 (currently away at college), and Trevor-16. She enjoys reading. writing, interior decorating, entertaining family and friends, and, of course, organizing!
